We began 2010 with the idea of taking pictures of things that we enjoyed spending time together and learning together. Right away we began learning how to use our camera and really maximizing the finer points it had to offer. During the year, what we learned was that we had developed a following of friends who were engaged in the pictures we were taking. Requests to take pictures began coming in from those who saw what we were doing.
We were evolving. We were engaged. We were having fun.
So much fun in fact that we began to expand our ideas. We added an additional camera that offered more choices, we could both shoot pictures now, instead of needing to borrow a camera for one of us when the occasion rose. We began taking more classes. We are continually evolving we won’t ever stop learning so if you are waiting for us to be our best before we shoot your shots, our best is always going to be the shoot we are doing right now. So jump in and be apart of our journey & let us document yours!
Having fun taking the pictures that inspired us, we also were having fun shooting more families and individuals. We did start with close family and friends, we have now begun branching out with your referrals. Thank you so much for continuing to sharing us with your family and friends. We promise to take good care of them.
While we have yet to figure out our specialty. We are giving all aspects of shooting a try. We have learned quite a lot this past year, and can’t wait to put our ideas into action. We do this for fun. We have a vision. It involves you. It involves what we see who we are and what inspires us. It is about friendships, love, giving all you’ve got, and being the best you can be.
Right now we are working on updates. We are getting more organized after having such an amazing practice year. Our systems last year were not in place and so before we begin shooting for more clients this year we are getting all set up.
What does this mean? We have taken some classes on how to manage a photography business/hobby and we are focused on setting things up so we can be self sustaining. We enjoy doing this so much we don’t want to be a flash in the pan. We want to give you the best service, the best quality and the assurance that you won’t build a relationship with us and have us disappear on you with all of your past photos having been lost or forgotten about.
This means, we will be investing not only in our skills but our infrastructure. Some things will happen fairly soon. Some will take more time.
Our commitment to those of you who have chosen us to be your photographers is that we are going to continue to improve our skills and invest in our education so we can offer you the best.
Please be patient with us as we get these things set up. Feel free to also give us a call to get your first or next photo session with us set up. If you are not in our area but you are interested in our services, let us know. If we have enough interested people in that area we will head there of our own accord. If you want us there you can set up additional shoots for us to make it more economical for you. Or better yet have us all to yourself for your project or group.
